Phi Phi & Khai Islands (8 hrs)
One thing nobody tells you: Thailand spoils you for every other beach destination once you've seen the Phi Phi Islands from the water. Twenty years of captaining these waters, and I still catch crew members stopping mid-task to stare at Maya Bay's limestone cliffs rising from emerald seas.
The Jeab handles these island-hopping adventures with surprising grace for a Luxury Speedboat 42ft. What we have found in Thai waters is that speed matters when you're covering Phi Phi Don, Phi Phi Leh, and the Khai Islands in eight hours. This custom build cuts through swells like butter, getting your group of twenty to pristine snorkeling spots before the crowds arrive.
Worth noting about Thailand's cool season from November to February – perfect visibility underwater and calm seas for photography. Even better for Thailand adventures, the occasional monsoon shower during other months adds drama to your shots and cools everyone down naturally. Brief tropical downpours are authentically Thai, though they can make rides bumpy between islands.
Smart guests pack reef-safe sunscreen because these coral gardens deserve protection. In our Thailand experience, the Khai Islands offer the clearest snorkeling while Phi Phi Leh delivers those postcard-perfect limestone formations that make your friends back home question your photo editing skills.
Because Thailand deserves to be seen from the sea, not just admired from crowded beaches.
